From going on the waiting list to collection DAY
Filling in our Puppy waiting list form
First, we ask any potential new family members of The Trufflemen to fill in our Puppy waiting list form.
This will allow us to learn more about you, your previous experience with dogs, the environment our puppy would be going into and also let us know the timeframe you are looking at and some more puppy specific requirements such as temperament, character traits, colour or sex you are looking for. We only have a limited number of openings per litter.
To keep up to date with us just ass your email on a Subscribe form for our monthly newsletter.

Next...
Once the litter is confirmed, usually on 30 day after the mating we can share the happy news.
At this point the successful families fr the waiting list will be contacted via email and we will share the great news alongside some ultrasound photos.
At this stage you will receive the litter information pack, with the parents health tests and any other additional information and more details about their personalities and the characteristics that make them who they are!

Birth...
Once the puppies are born we usually wait 48 hours before contacting families as in this crucial time we want to give our full focus to mum and puppies.
We will contact families with pictures of the mum and puppies. "This is when the fun stage begins
From this point onwards we keep up to date with families on a weekly basis with updates on how mum and puppies are doing as well as sharing updates on the important milestones.

Video calls
At around two weeks old we book in video calls at which point you can meet the puppies virtually as this is less stressful for the mums when they are caring for the puppies 24/7 at this stage but it also allows you to see the puppies at this beautiful age.
This is the stage when we require a 10% deposit to reserve your puppy.

Open day
At the time of the video call we will set up an open day. We give all the families an opportunity to come and meet the puppies and both parents in person ahead of collection date.
Have a cuppa with us and enjoy some Lagotto cuddles! We have a list of FAQs for you of common questions that new families often ask and plenty of other useful information.
We continue the weekly updates. Always nice for everyone to see the puppies grow.

Collection day
The puppies are ready to leave us from 8 weeks old when they have had the all clear from our vets. They will come with their 1st vaccine done, Microchip, Flea and Worming treatment, a full vet check and a 5 weeks insurance.
The Kennel Club 5 weeks insurance will be set up ready for collection.
On collection, Puppies and Puppy Pack will be ready and you will be all set to get started on you new Lagotto adventure!

After service
We are always on hand for any advice you need or training tips. The best way to contact us is via email or WhatsApp.
